Details of Logan's Treatment Plan

For my own memory and to help those who may be in need of similar help one day, I thought it best to record some specifics on Logan’s treatment plan.
What were our first steps after diagnosis?
Refer to the post on Dec 13, 2016 for changes we made after our first visit to Patti.  In addition to the changes mentioned in that post, Patti recommended a specific Chinese Herb we were on for 3 weeks.  Thereafter, she changes the formula based on his current status.  Here are some pics of the products mentioned in the December post.  Patti recommends these brands and to give the pills in their separate from rather than in a combined pill format that you find in some vet offices:
liver support

liver support
cancer support
What are some additional things we do?
We’ve made some diet changes.  The dogs get ½ an egg 6 nights a week.  That amounts to 3 eggs per week, which Patti said is the right amount.  We also fix a specific food we call “Meat Bake”.  It’s really a beef bake that is a special tonic for the blood.  The dogs get ½ cup 3 times per week.
We also have added some items to the emergency medicine kit.  We have added Rescue Remedy (the kind with the alcohol – human kind).  The dose is 4 drops into the inner ear flap.  Rub it in, let it get absorbed.  Make sure to clean off the applicator with witch hazel before putting back into container.  Use it for:
  1. Shock
  2. Overheating
  3. Anxiety – e.g., Thunderstorms, toenail trimming (takes about 10 minutes to set in)
The other thing we added was Yunnan Paiyao (Bai Yao) for bleeding issues (e.g., tumor bleed, lacerations, etc.).   There are 2 kinds of pills, yellow and red.  The yellow pill is to control bleeding (e.g., stop a minor cut bleed or slow internal bleeding).  For internal bleeding, the dog needs to ingest the pill.  For external bleeding you can put the powder directly on the wound.  The red pill is what can save the dog’s life if there is an emergency internal bleed or a very serious bleeding issue.  The data suggests the pill stops bleeding within 3 minutes of ingesting.
For Braddock, we added Yin Care (a concentrated topical) for the ear tips.  Dilute with water and then spray onto the ear tips up to twice per day.
For Cadia (and others if they need it), we added Thuja.  It’s a 3 day protocol to be given during times that the dog’s system will be under stress (e.g., vaccines, heartworm/flea/tick medicine administration).  Give pills the day before, the day of, and the day after.  It helps mitigate the negative side effects.
Also for the medicine kit we added "Cure All", which is a supplement that can be given to help alleviate transitory setbacks (e.g., GI upset).  Finally for Cadia’s anxiety we give Serene Spirit and have had good results.  Usually only takes 2 to 3 rounds of supplements to reset.  Chinese medicine is not meant to be on continuously, but rather to reset/rebalance and "cure".
Logan just started an additional cancer control OTC pill - Tagamet 100mg.  In humans, this is an antacid but for Logan's purpose, it is to help control the rate of metastasis.
